Steve has over ten years experience within the industry in pharmaceutical research and development both as a project team leader and group research manager. He has also worked in diagnostics and medical devices and has been involved in the development and launch of world class drugs and diagnostic tests.
Steve works extensively with company boards and senior management, in the areas of strategy, R&D and regulatory affairs. He has over 20 years of experience in leading complex, multi-national programmes. Steve has built three global consulting businesses from modest beginnings to multi million dollar enterprises at Coopers and Lybrand, IBM and PwC.
Steve is a retired partner from PwC and led the Pharmaceutical Team in Advisory Services, he previously led the IBM Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Global Teams. Steve is the lead author of the Pharma 2005,2010 and Pharma 2020 series. These are available on the PwC website.
Steve now is a member of the advisory board of a leading pharmacovigilance business Navitas, who are domain experts in the areas of Clinical, Regulatory, Safety and Compliance. Recently Steve has worked with Genomics England on the 100,000 genomes project.
Steve is a visiting professor at University College London, Department of Biochemical Engineering, he lectures on drug development at CCDRS and is a member of the DIA.
